Rust Fighter
If you want to get rid of rust in iron object, a can of coke can definitely help. Just soak the object in coke for around 24 hours, then take it out of the coke-bath and begin scrubbing the rust off. The final process is to rinse the item thoroughly to remove rust and coke residue. The phosphoric acid in coke is responsible for dissolving rust (Fe2O3•nH2O). Though this method is low-cost and relatively green, a low content of phosphoric acid means a longer working time for rust removal.


Pain Neutralizer
If you are bitten by insects which make you itchy and spell, try to pour some fizzy coke onto the affected area. You will feel great after doing so. The toxic saliva, which is produced by mosquitoes on our skin, is neutralized by chemicals in coke. Just remember to prepare some wet wipes as things may get a little sticky!

The Hairstylist
It sounds crazy, but pouring coke on your hair actually can have some unexpected results. Color fader? Coca-Cola. The sugar in coke gives hair a beaching effect. So next time when the hair is dyed with an unsatisfactory result, you do not need to have the expensive hairstyle treatment. Instead, just take out a coke from the refrigerator and be ready to show off your hair. Besides, washing hair with coke also tighten hair's cuticles. Thus, your hair will look curly and smoother.

The carbonic, citric and phosphoric acid from the coke can form a strong household cleaner that breaks down stain readily.

Some people in the world use coke as a pesticide, especially in India. Using coke is more cost effective than expensive pesticide. Though this is what the company tries to deny, the theory of using coke as pesticide has yet to be disproven and the result is remarkable.
